Reeny Marquez Partner-For as long as I can remember I've had a love for all creatures great and small. My first beloved pet, Goldessa, was a beautiful healthy goldfish that I nurtured to what my family called "pan-size." That early fascination of animals & desire to stay close home led me to work at the Monterey Bay Aquarium & attend UCSC where I majored in Marine Biology. While living on campus I was dubbed "Snow White" by friends because of the deer, raccoons & other critters that gravitated towards me. Even still, regardless of where I am, I always seem to find some adorable dog or irresistible stray kitty I must stop & make friends with. For me it was a given that one day I'd be working with animals. I can't imagine a better way to spend my day.

Dawn Mick Partner- I have worked with animals of all kinds ranging from sea lions to reptiles and everything in between. With a love of animals inherited from and encouraged by my mother, I cannot drive by a loose dog on the street without trying to save it. Since childhood, every stray, lost, or "mom said we can't keep him" have found safe haven with my family. I have 2 dogs, Charlie, a big lab mix that I rescued from a crowded Southern Ca. pound and Lambchop, a small fluff ball that ran out in front of my car. This is the most amazing business. I get to spend my days hanging out with animals. It's the first career that I've ever had that doesn't feel like work. I love it!
Jennifer Juliano Partner- I love animals and they love me! Ever since I was a little girl growing up in Santa Cruz I have dreamed of working with animals as a profession. In my senior year of high school I completed a pre-veterinary science course and received a Certificate of Competency in Animal Science Technology, as well as the Best Groomer Award. During this time I began working as a veterinary assistant/groomer at a local animal hospital where they also boarded animals, and then at a local kennel where I saw firsthand howstressful it is on animals to be kept away from home. Later on I graduated from UCSC with a degree in biology and then spent the last 8 years as a researcher in the biotechnology industry. Royal Treatment finally gives me the opportunity to live outmy dream and have a career doing something I love, caring for pets.
